У статті висвітлено життєвий і творчий шлях відомого вченого, педагога, науковця з міжнародним іменем, доктора педагогічних наук, професора, заслуженого діяча науки і техніки України, дійсного члена Національної Академії педагогічних наук України, дійсного члена Академії педагогічних і соціальних наук (м. Москва) Володимира Григоровича Кузя. Схарактеризовано його як особистість, наведено біографічні дані. Розкрито його діяльність в Уманському державному педагогічному університеті імені Павла Тичини на посаді ректора, завідувача кафедри, зазначено створені ним науково-дослідні лабораторії в УДПУ імені Павла Тичини.
The article covers the life and creative career of a well-known in many countries scientist and teacher, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, a member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, a member of the Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences (Moscow, Russia) – Volodymyr Hryhorovych Kuz. In the article his personality traits and biographical information are provided, as well as his activity as a rector, the Head of the Department and Research laboratories established by him at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.
It was revealed that Volodymyr Hryhorovych contributed a lot to the integration of education and science, cooperation of the higher education institution with scientific institutions. The article discusses the activity of Vasyl
Sukhomlynskyi Scientific School and School of the 21st Century of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, which closely cooperated with scientific institutions from foreign countries: Poland, USA, Germany, Russia, China and others was revealed. It also emphasizes the achievements of Volodymyr Kuz in the fields of education and science, which were highly praised at the national and international levels. The author presents the functioning of the academic school of the academician “Pedagogics of the 21st Century”, that became a scientific cooperation of students, postgraduate students, scientists of different generations, who were united by scientific views on the challenges of education in Ukraine, style of the scientific works and the ideas of supervisor and mentor. Attention is drawn to the fact that
Volodymyr Kuz fostered a considerable constellation of creative followers, who transform and multiply the scientific views of their Master.
